Horses have been working alongside humans for thousands of years. We have known them to be useful for labor, companionship, and many other purposes. In this class, we will discuss various horse breeds and why they can differ so much. We will take a look at breeds from around the world and how each culture has chosen to use their horses.

We will practice identifying the breeds, the purposes of horses around the world, and where some breeds originated from. At the end of class, we will play a game to see how much everyone has learned!

- Helping humans with pulling or carrying
- Caring for humans
- Companions
