Come and learn about some amazing Alaskan animals! Each week we will discuss a new animal and learn about their habitat, location, social behavior, life span, and physical features. Instruction will include a powerpoint with pictures and bullet points of the information. As we discuss facts about these animals and their lives, I will help students connect information about their physical features and how they live. We will look at furs and skulls for many of these incredible creatures and use...
Student will learn fun facts about Alaskan animals including: size, life span, location, social behavior, and physical features.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be shown real furs and skulls of many of the animals listed in order to learn more about their physical features.
