Description

Class Experience

During this class, students can expect to learn about adjectives. Adjectives describe a noun. We will be doing a few short activities to help children practice getting comfortable with adjectives. For the first 15 minutes of class, Miss Kaylee will explain what an adjective is and how it is appropriately used. Then, for the second 15 minutes, Miss Kaylee will lead students in activities that will help students recognize adjectives. For the last part of the class, students will get to write...

1. Students will be able to recognize and properly use adjectives.

There will be an informal assessment at the end of the class -- which is described in the class description. Students will be expected to create their own sentences, and each must include at least one adjective. Students will share at least one of their sentences aloud with the class.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
