In this one time class, students will get inspired while learning about Alberto Giacometti. This inspiration will help us make our own foil sculptures!
Class experience
In this class, students will learn who Alberto Giacometti is. We will look at some of his sculptures and use them for our own inspiration! This will be done with slide shows and a Q&A type discussion. We will then build upon our inspiration, as we want to be open to creating and having fun, keeping in mind that our imagination is key in this class! This will be done with a fun drawing activity. Students will learn about a famous sculptor. They will also build upon their creativity and imagination. Fine motor skills will be practiced, as well as direction following and conversation skills!
Supplies needed for class are aluminum foil, a permanent marker or dark colored pen, scissors, paper.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
