Beginner Level
Each week we will learn a new alphabet letter sound using funny stories with puppets. Students will interact with the puppets to help make the sounds of each letter. We will also identify words beginning with the letter of the week. Students will have a lot of fun learning English alphabet sounds with stories, slides, videos, games, and puppets to encourage interaction between the students and teacher. Individual speaking, as well as group speaking, will be encouraged to learn and practice the letter sounds. No prior with English is necessary to attend this class. I will adjust each lesson to individual student levels and needs. Each week we will study different letters of the alphabet: Week one: Aa Week two: Bb Week three: Cc Week four: Dd We will continue different letters through the alphabet each week. Learning Goals
Students will practice and identify the sounds of each alphabet letter. They will also identify and list words beginning with each letter sound. Students will speak in complete sentences and learn confidence knowing their letter sounds.
