Students will improve their understanding of the alphabet and phonics. Students will have the opportunity to see a letter, practice the sound it makes, then have the chance to run around their home and find an item that makes that sound.
I was a homeschool teacher to my Kindergartner and Pre-K child. I am an online teacher to children in China and have been doing that for a year and a half. I teach simple phonics and the alphabet to children ages 2 to 15. I have found that students are more likely to retain the information and want to continue learning when they are having a great time. My children and tutor students' favorite activity of the day was our fun scavenger hunts. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and have finished all of my required courses and observation hours to finish my teaching certificate, and only have to take the test to become certified. I have been a substitute teacher in the elementary setting for years and have been a physical education and athletic coach for over 15 years. Teaching is my superpower.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
