Alphabet Masters- Let's Learn Letters and Sounds

Are you ready to learn your letters and sounds in the Alphabet Masters class? Get ready for kindergarten with this 9 week course. Each day we will focus on one letter and sound until we have learned all 26 letters and sounds. For this class, we will focus on short vowel sounds. We will not focus on the long vowel sounds.  We will have fun singing, moving, writing, and reading as we learn each letter and sound. Each class will follow a similar structure:

1. Introduce letter- We will say the letter, read the letter, write the letter, and find the letter together. 
2. Practice the letter sound through a song/chant.
3. Identify pictures that start with the letter.
4. Complete a page of our alphabet book.
5. If time allows, we will do a letter hunt in your room. Students can search for something around them that starts with the letter of the day.

On the last day of the course, we will have a letter day celebration. Everyone can bring something that starts with their favorite letter to share with the class. They will have an alphabet booked completed to share with their family.

Let's have fun learning the alphabet. This  course will help prepare your child for kindergarten or will be a great review for your current kindergartener who want a little extra practice. Students do not need to know their letters and sounds to complete this course. See below for the schedule.

Week 4- Letters J,K,L
Week 5-Letters M,N,O
Week 6- Letters P, Q, R
Week 7- Letters S, T, U
Week 8- V, W, X
