This class will learn alphabet letters and sounds. We will review the alphabet by singing songs and playing alphabet games. We will also review alphabet sounds and use props to encourage memory. a a a apple, b b b banana, c c c cat are examples of sounding out the word. We will also play games an example would be I hold up a letter and everyone guesses what letter or I will show a slide that says b, c, d, ___? what letter comes next. We will sing the alphabet song along with other songs that include the letter names.
Learning Goals
For the student to recognize each letter and know the sound it makes. The class has songs, games, and review activities to achieve this objective.
