Alphabet, Drawing , Phonics and FUN

In this ongoing class, students will have fun learning alphabet letters and the letter sounds! We will use phonic to associate letters with sound. Students will meet once a week for 25 minutes each time. We will complete a directed drawing each class. The drawing will go with the letter of the week. Drawing is a great tool to enhance confidence and self-esteem, while working on their fine motor skills, as well as their ability to focus and pay attention to details 

Schedule will be similar to the following:

--Students will identify several items that start with the letter we are working on and practice the letter sound.
-- Students will share an item that starts with the letter we are working on.
--Students will participate in a directed drawing that begins with the letter of the day. (example the week we learn the letter B we will draw a butterfly together)

This class is designed to have fun, build confidence, recognize letters and sounds, and practice following directions.
