Alphabet Arts & Crafts: A New Letter and Craft Each Week!
Class experience
US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
Beginner Level
Arts and crafts, one letter at a time! Each week in this ongoing class, we will focus on one letter of the alphabet and do a craft inspired by that letter. I have always loved working with children as well as arts and crafts! I've been a nursery coordinator, daycare teacher, nanny, and school volunteer over the years. I also have three kids of my own. I have a B.A. in linguistics and I volunteered for a literacy program for two years, during which I helped kindergarteners learn and practice their letters and letter sounds. I have my own Etsy shop and love doing art projects for myself and of course with kids!
Below are the materials we will be using regularly in this class. I will send out a detailed list of what is required for specific crafts each week. Plain paper plates Card stock Construction paper Watercolor paper Washable paints Paint brushes Pipe cleaners Googly eyes (We can absolutely make it work without these. They're just so fun!) Scissors Glue Tissue paper of various colors

While grownups are asked to remain off camera, some learners may need a helping hand on occasion. I would highly recommend that an adult be close by during class. There may also be some minor prep of materials to be done by a grownup each week.
