In this on-going class, students will refine their handwriting and turn printed alphabet letters into Art.

Come draw with me! B is for bumblebee. M is for mouse. Students will practice writing uppercase letters as we turn letters into Art. We will begin each class with letter handwriting practice. This is a great way to practice both letter recognition and fine motor skills. After practicing letters on our lined handwriting paper, students will then transform their letter into a work of art. G is for giraffe! K is for kangaroo! In 2007, I graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in English and a certification in Elementary K-6 Education. I am also certified to teach Gifted Lerners and English as a Second Language. Although I have taught all subjects from Science to Math, Language Arts is my passion. This passion led to becoming the Media Specialist (aka librarian) for my K-5 school over the past 3 years.
