In this quick paced but thorough class, pre readers will gain confidence in pre literacy skills that are needed to be successful in both PreK and Kindergarten. This class will be based off the Orton Gillingham approach, which is an explicit and multi sensory approach to literacy skills that has been proven...

-Students will gain phonemic awareness or knowledge of the /b/ sound. -Students will learn correct letter formation for handwriting the letter b. -Students will articulate correct sounds and match the corresponding letter. -Students will have fun and be engaged while learning reading foundation skills!
I will be providing all of the printable practice resources your child needs to be successful (Decodable stories, handwriting practice sheets, fluency strips and more). Supply List: -Printer for for printable resources -Play doh -Dry erase pocket (can be found at dollar store) -Dry erase marker *Other multi sensory supplies will be posted in the class, but are totally optional* :)
