Description

Class Experience

Students will improve their understanding of the letters in the alphabet, the sounds they make, words that begin with that letter, and how to make the shape of the letter.
Teacher expertise includes numerous online teachings of the English alphabet, English as a second language, grammar, Language Arts, and spelling. Teaching since 2011, Elizabeth is confident in her ability to help your child practice and increase knowledge of the letters in the alphabet.
No homework, but practicing the alphabet song is always a good idea!
Any household materials may be used to make the shapes of the letters, with supervision! Ideas for what your child can use in class: dry cereal, play-dough, popcorn, crayons, a baking sheet lightly covered with sugar or rice (for drawing in), dry beans, Legos, pipe cleaners, ETC.
No assessment for this class.
20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Hands-on activities may be choking hazards for our children, so please assist or supervise your child when class includes ANY materials for the shapes of letters - *including but not limited to* dry cereal, play-dough, crayons, popcorn, ETC.
