Assessment
An intake assessment will be delivered during our first session together. The purpose of this intake is to better understand my student's goals, personality and self-awareness. I will send you a write up of this assessment, after the first session. There will be mini-assessments, throughout the sessions, to determine and quantify their progress towards their goals.

Class Experience

An "alpha girl" is typically characterized as a confident, assertive, and influential individual who takes charge and leads with self-assuredness. She is often outgoing, ambitious, and not afraid to express her opinions or pursue her goals. The term "alpha girl" is associated with strong leadership qualities, resilience, and the ability to inspire and influence others. While assertive, an alpha girl also values collaboration and recognizes the strength in empowering those around her.

These one-on-one coaching sessions are specially designed for students seeking to unlock their full potential and navigate the unique challenges of growing up in today's world. These personalized sessions provide a safe and supportive space where students can explore their identities, formulate goals, develop self-confidence, and build essential life skills.

Each session is tailored to the individual's needs, focusing on areas such as self-esteem, goal setting, resilience, emotional intelligence, and effective communication. I will use a variety of techniques; including positive reinforcement, mindfulness practices, and creative problem-solving strategies, to empower my student to find their voice and path.

These sessions not only aim to nurture personal growth and self-awareness but also encourage students to embrace their strengths and individuality. Whether it's overcoming obstacles, improving academic performance, building stronger relationships, or preparing for future challenges, I will provide the tools and support necessary for personal success and happiness.

Though these sessions are open to all learners, with my background in coaching and leading girls and young women, they are ideal for girls seeking a supportive guide through their journey. These sessions are more than just coaching—they are an investment in a brighter, more confident future.

I prioritize creating a personalized safe space where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their unique strengths and capabilities. Using positive reinforcement, encouragement, modeling, and tailored guidance, I aim to instill confidence, resilience, and a sense of purpose in each student I work with.

Other Details

Learning Needs
I have experience with neurodivergent students and coaching clients, specifically with ADHD. I am prepared to assist students with ADHD craft goals that are in line with their unique needs.
Parental Guidance
Coaching and therapy serve different, distinct purposes. Coaching for students typically revolves around personal development, skill-building, and goal achievement, with a focus on enhancing a student's potential and capabilities. Coaches work to empower kids, fostering a positive mindset and encouraging them to take responsibility for their actions. In contrast, therapy for kids concentrates on addressing emotional and behavioral challenges. Therapists explore underlying issues, provide coping strategies, and promote mental health. Therapy is often more directive, involving interventions to help children navigate and overcome specific psychological difficulties. While coaching aims at maximizing potential, therapy for kids is geared towards emotional well-being and resolving issues that may hinder healthy development. If during our coaching sessions I feel further mental health evaluation would be beneficial for your student, I will inform you immediately. If sensitive subject matter such as (but not limited to): clinically significant anxiety or depression, sexuality, drugs/alcohol, bullying or self-harm are brought up, I will not engage these conversations during our sessions and I will send a message to you immediately after class.
