Description

Class Experience

In this one time class, students will learn how to care for the alpacas on a farm. They will learn what the alpacas eat and drink, as well as how much hay, grain, and water is needed each day. They will watch how alpacas are haltered and prepared for walks. They will learn the importance of field maintenance, the importance of divided pastures and keeping gates secure. Students will also learn the bathroom habits of alpacas and the importance of cleaning the pastures and barns for parasite...

Learning goals will include responsibility and the importance of being a reliable farm sitter

As an alpaca breeder for almost 20 years, I love sharing our alpaca lifestyle with everyone
