Integrating all basics to advance to: the art of composition, Street Photography, experimenting with & exploring view points and perspectives, using color, Documentary Photography, Architecture Photography all while exploring "How Masters Work" students will conclude our semester with their very own Student Showcase from their own self-created digital Portfolios. **I have designed this Course such that one does not have to have taken Sem 1 first**

Class experience

Having worked for a photographer, I learned many aspects of the art. My passion for photography has inspired the artwork around our home. I have enlarged numerous photographs printed on canvas. I encourage your students to do the same. I am a former 4-H Photography Project Leader. The photographs I use on all my Photography Class listings are my own! As an Outschool Teacher, I have gained many, many amazing reviews on my Photography Classes from previous students and their parents. Feel free to read through them.
Required: camera, manual, camera strap, tripod, lens cloth, lens cap, access to and ability to use a computer digital slideshow program (will not be taught in Class, must learn/know outside of Class)

Suggested: additional lenses and filters

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
To gain the most out of my Classes and allow me, as the teacher, to assist as needed, students being visible, using headphones, speaking in turn, and having a distraction-free location for class are all key components. Student progress is assessed weekly from in-Class engagement and direct Classroom participation. Additionally, most weeks I will provide out-of-Class Assignments geared directly to the skills learned in Class. Students gain detailed feedback. Taking photographs then submitting out-of-Class Assignments in between classes in order to develop their skills is advantageous. Students will be encouraged to maintain a Student Portfolio and will create a Final Semester Project in some type of slideshow to present during our Student Showcase in our last Class meeting.

***For Spring 2022:
I have added a Make-Up Class for April 20th in the event one is needed, we’ll just shift Classes rather than attempt to reschedule everyone. If it is not needed, our Semester will conclude as scheduled on April 13th.***
