All Things Terraria!! Battles, Gear, Crafting, Missions, and More!-PC Version
Class experience
In this ongoing course, learners will choose the topics to discuss from Terraria each week. A list of topics will be provided by me, but as we get to know each other and based on their progression in the game, learners will have the opportunity to choose topics to discuss in class and to suggest topics for the following classes. Below is a list of topics we will choose from each week. Topics will be based on how learners are progressing in the game. Learners will be able to join at any...
Learners will be able to gain and provide strategies for successful battles and gameplay. In addition, learners will be able to communicate, collaborate, and share effectively with their peers.
Learners will need the most updated PC version of Terraria, preferably. If they are using a different type of device then they will not be able to play with other students or join their worlds. Parents and learners should be aware that the Terraria PC version is the encouraged device/version of choice. There are limitations to the others and most learners will play on the PC and will likely be most satisfied with that experience.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Terraria is appropriate for ages 11+. I strongly encourage parents to read the official game review and specifically "What Parents Need to Know" section before having students play this game. The link is here: https://www.commonsensemedia.org/game-reviews/terraria In order for students to play together, they must add each other as friends on Steam, myself included. It is very important that they obtain parent permission before adding others on Steam. Talking outside of he classroom on Steam is not encouraged in this class, so parents will need to discuss this with students and give permission if this is something they want to do.
We will be using a number of Terraria Wikis in this class.
