All Things Pre-K ( Spring FLEX Part 1)

This is a perfect opportunity for those who would like to assist your child in learning on your own time. 
If you would like to homeschool, but aren't sure where to begin this is a great option for you!
I will interact with learners by providing optional activities for them to complete with the lessons.Students can post their completed activity to the classroom for myself and other learners to see if they choose. Students can also respond to other learner's work through a video or written response (with help from an adult.)
 Each pre-recorded lesson will include a power point with  name/ handwriting, calendar, phonics, math, and themed unit activities for the Pre-K level. It is recommended that students know most letters and sounds and numbers 1-20 before taking this class. In a live setting, the class normally lasts 45 minutes. In this FLEX setting, videos will not exceed 30 minutes per week. I will post 2-3 pre-recorded videos each Monday for the students to complete on their own time.

- Tracing your name

Calendar: 
- Learn the Days of the Week and Months of the Year songs
- identify the current season
- Discuss the weather where you live 
- Identify any holidays in the current month

Phonics:
- Learn to blend cvc words
- learn to form rhyming words
- identify words that rhyme and words that do not

Math:
- simple addition and subtraction
- Begin to explore Odd and Even numbers

Themed Unit:
- Learn new vocabulary
- Learn about special times of the year
- Explore Social Studies
- Listen to Readings

Greetings/ Goodbyes:
- Learn how to politely greet your friends with words and handshakes
