In this one -time class, students will learn: 1) to identify a penny from a group of coins 2) the value of a penny and how to write it (including the cent symbol) 3) how to count by 1s 4) how to count a group of pennies and write the amount 5) how to show an amount of money using pennies Students will be expected to HAVE FUN! Our class outline looks like this: 1) interactive class discussion of what everyone knows about coins and transition into learning some facts about the penny 2) learn...

I will provide an optional worksheet should the child/parent wish to complete after class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
