Class Experience
Students will gain: - a general LOVE for math - CONFIDENCE in their own ability to solve math problems - PROFICIENCY in individual areas of struggle - an UNDERSTANDING of how math fits in their world
Mr. Haywood is currently a licensed teacher in the field of robotics and engineering at the highschool level. He has taught math to elementary students in a private school, a charter school as well as a number of tutoring programs for more than 15 years.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
IXL and Kahoot will only be used via screen share by the teacher. No personal passwords will be necessary.
