I was a classroom Pre-K teacher for 3 years before becoming a Stay at home mom/ online ESL teacher. I have also taught Kindergarten and First Grade. I built my curriculum from the ground up and would love to continue my passion and skill for the little ones. I had several students reading before Kindergarten and many ELL speaking English at the end of the year.
Students will be provided with a template to trace and write their names independently. They are encouraged to write/ trace their names 1-3 times a week.
Students will be given optional assignments to complete at home. They are welcome to post pictures or videos of their work in the classroom.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will need help navigating for the calendar. Parental guidance will also be necessary when posting pictures or videos of work and responding to discussion questions. Students may also need help pausing the video to brainstorm and make lists during the phonics portion.
