All Systems Go! Introduction to Human Anatomy & Biology - High School Science

US Grade 9 - 12
Beginner Level
This introduction-level series runs just like a full semester course, but with the flexibility and convenience of ongoing enrollment. Classes meet twice per week. Classes on the reproductive system will focus on the anatomy (parts) and physiology (function), rather than topics on sexuality, gender issues and sexual health. All material presented is factual and science-based. My experience in teaching started when I was in high school as a math and ESL tutor. I majored in life sciences at Queen’s University in Ontario with a minor in psychology. I moved to North Carolina and practiced for 5 years as a chiropractor and acupuncturist before starting a family and embarking on a second career as a university instructor. I have been teaching anatomy & physiology and medical terminology for over 15 years.
