When students study voice, they not only need to learn about pitch matching and producing a beautiful sound. There are several additional elements that are foundational to singing and vocal technique. When it comes to singing, it is important to know what makes a good singer and to understand the pedagogy behind the voice. Students will learn the foundations of singing. They will learn how to stand, breath, and phonate in a cohesive manner.
I have acquired both my Bachelors and Masters in Vocal Performance and I am currently pursuing my doctorate. I have a plethora of vocal experience and I am currently a Resident Artist with EPO.
Homework Offered
Students will be required to practice outside of class and to keep a practice journal where they will log what they have worked on.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Students should be able to match pitch.
A notebook to log their practice sessions.
We will be using the Foundations of Sining Vocal Guide book, which I will provide for students.
