Description

Class Experience

Students will have a better understanding of their thinking styles and understand how the way we think affects our communication with other people. The goal of knowing ourselves better helps us understand how we learn, understand others and succeed in life.
The All About YOUth program is led by Teachers/Facilitators who have been trained by the Changing Children’s Worlds Foundation. Facilitators will range from staff members and/or interns (most have their MSW or are Graduate students in education, psychology or public health).
The Changing Children’s Worlds Foundation training includes a focus on Social / Emotional skills, Empathy, Positive Relationships, being Trauma-Sensitive and a Public Health Equity approach.
Students will need a pen or pencil with paper to class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
