Description

Class Experience

Let's learn all about the weather this summer at Little Meteorologist Training. In this 4-week Weather camp learners will get good foundational knowledge about weather, weather instruments, clouds, rainbows, weather maps, climate zones, and erosion over 4-weeks we will cover:

Week 1:
      - Day 1 - Weathering and Erosion
      - Day 2 - Weather instruments
Week 2:
      - Day 3 - Making Weather Instruments
      - Day 4 - Types of Clouds and Rainbows
Week 3:
     - Day 5 - Cloud and Rainbow...

Learners will learn some foundational knowledge about weather, the types of weather we see and go through, and objects we use to measure weather!

I will email parents prior to those classes so students can bring the appropriate materials to that class. We will also be using Kahoot for our final unit review game! We will also use Google Classroom to help 

Students should bring:
- Notebook (for interactive notebook)
- Pencil
- Coloring utensils (crayons, markers, coloring pencils)
- Glue (bottle or stick)
- Scissors

Cloud and Rainbow Art and Craft Supplies:
- Cardboard
- White paint & brushes (optional)
- Yarn in desired colors, we used white + blues and whites + rainbow
- Facial features – googly eyes, yarn (optional)
- Scissors
- Pencil
- A little glue (depending on which yarn wrapped cloud you make)

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Kahoot
Google Classroom

2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
