Class Experience

Students will learn and understand the basics and techniques of how to bump, set, spike, and serve a volleyball. Students will be presented with challenges and introduced to exercises specifically designed for volleyball athletes to further excel in the sport.
Volleyball has played a huge role in my life. I had the opportunity to play for 14 years and my love for this sport remains the same. I was able to gain valuable knowledge and experience throughout the years by joining traveling teams, being a part of a collegiate D1 volleyball program, and coaching. (the picture utilized for this course is actually a picture of myself at one of our home games :) ) I am certain that my love for this sport will show throughout the course and I am excited to share my knowledge with you all!
Students will be encouraged to practice the skill learned throughout the week.
-volleyball -open space to workout -a wall to hit the ball against or a partner willing to pick up the ball during the portion of the course that the students will be asked to apply the skills learned -water bottle -tennis shoes
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
If students are not supervised, injuries may occur. Please be prepared to provide proper supervision.
