Description
Class Experience
Learners will be able to practice their speaking skills by sharing their knowledge of the sun. Learners will improve their reading comprehension and vocabulary by listening to an interesting text. Learners will be able to use their creativity and fine motor skills to draw the sun. Learners will practice their writing skills by writing in complete sentences. Learners will use their imaginations to think of a story about the sun or their background knowledge to write fun facts about the sun.
1 file available upon enrollmentLearners will need paper and art supplies, such as pencils, colored pencils, crayons, or markers. Learners may chose to bring a picture of the sun or a sun toy to class to share at the beginning. Learners will get a graphic organizer that is completely optional.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
