This class is for everyone who is fascinated by the night sky and wants to know more about what lies out there in the great beyond! Have you ever looked at the sky at night time and wondered which one of those shining objects are planets and which ones are stars? How far are they from us? What would it be like to step outside of earth and land on one of them? Well, this is the class you want to join to get some of those questions answered. In this one time class, students will learn basic facts about our neighbors in the solar system. They will be able to compare and contrast their features with those of the earth and learn what makes our home truly special-and livable. I will use slides, video clips and books to introduce the different planets to the students. We will also have discussions to ensure understanding of the subject matter.

Students should print out this worksheet so they can take notes during class. If they don't have a printer, copying this worksheet onto a piece of binder paper by hand can also be done.

Hi! My name is Ms. Biddle and I have been a public school teacher in California for 18 years. Teaching is my passion and I love connecting with children. I have taught general ed as a 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade and 5th grade teacher.
Having so much experience in the public education sector, I have been itching to teach more relevant topics. Public education is great! But it does have some holes. I will focus on teaching basic financial literacy, but will also offer fun classes in other subject areas. I wish my own financial literacy journey started way before the age of 38, but since it didn't, I want to make sure I provide that to others.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my 15 year old son and 5 year old daughter. We enjoy going on hikes, spending time at the beach, reading together or just playing some music and wiggling out our sillies! Reviews
