We will learn about and discuss: - The history, characteristics, and uses of sports cars - Italian makes: Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati - German makes: Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi - British makes: McLaren and Aston Martin - American and other makes: Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Tesla, and Ford This will be an interactive lesson, with students discussing their favorite (types of) cars and comparing their answers. We will use a slideshow format that is heavy on images. No previous knowledge is required, except for an interest in cars that go fast and look cool. Students are welcome to bring toy models, hot wheels, and any examples of cars to share.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the history, characteristics, and uses of sports cars.
