In this one time class, the students will listen to a fiction story about sharks, draw a step by step shark with non fiction labels with an experienced teacher.

Description

Class Experience

🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈The students will listen to a non fiction and fiction shark story during the "research" part of the class.  Together we will brainstorm shark facts.  During the directed drawing portion of the class, the students will draw a teacher directed shark and add color to the shark.  They will share the sharks with their classmates, if they feel comfortable doing so.  The students will then write some shark facts or add some labels to their shark drawing. Their finished ALL ABOUT SHARK...

-Student will use listening skills by focusing on shark facts.
-Student will use research skills to gather information about sharks.
-Student will use creative skills by drawing and coloring a shark.
-Student will use listening skills to follow directions.
-Student will use social skills to interact with other students.

Read a shark book this week!  :)

The students will need paper, a pencil, and crayons or colored pencils.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
