Florida Teaching Certificate in Mathematics
I am a certified teacher in grades K-12, and I have been teaching for 13 years. Currently, I teach 6th grade Math at a public school in Florida, but I have taught students in grades 3-7 - all subjects. Every year I provide after-school Math tutoring to students in our school, as well as, private tutoring lessons outside the school. In 2020, I taught 5th grade Math and Science entirely online due to school closures, and this allowed me to grow in my technology skills, as well as helped me develop strategies to engage students and help them learn about Math/Science from the comfort of their homes. I am originally from Brazil, so I am also able to teach those who speak Portuguese.
