Ages 10-13
Self-Paced Course
This exciting 8-week self-paced Level II course is perfect for students who want to continue learning more about Python programming! We'll learn more about the foundations of Python while building fun games, animations, and applications.
Your student will learn how to code with Python, one of the world's most popular coding languages. This is a highly interactive class with students interacting with other students and the instructor regularly. Some projects we will complete include random friend selector, pizza shop app, weather website, and more over the 8-weeks. Students should already have a good understanding of variables, functions, conditional statements, and loops before starting this class. The teacher will be providing feedback on submitted student projects and practice questions throughout the course. Please, see parental guidance for more information. Your student will be amazed at what they can do at the end of 8-weeks and be excited about continuing their coding journey.

This helps students apply what we have learned, and also develop the important skills of coding with others. This only becomes more essential as students continue on their coding journey!
Interactive Groups
Every student is required to post questions, sample code, and their projects every step of the way. This gives students the chance to learn from each other and start practicing reading code. The instructor will also be providing feedback and guidance throughout the course.
The class is a supportive, positive, and fun environment for all students!
