2-4 hours per week. Students will have math practice problems each week either on a worksheet or the online platform MyOpenMath. This practice is imperative to mastery of the concepts. They must also post questions and respond to their peers. They will also post a video explanation of a practice problem approximately every other week. Students will also have projects to show their mastery of the various functions we will be studying.Assessment
There will be short assessments most weeks to review the concepts. There will also be projects. At the end of the course there will be a final assessment. Per parent request, I can provide grades for the classwork and assessments if needed for a credit.Grading
Grades are offered per parent request. Students must submit work through the classroom page. A grade document will be shared with the student and parent so they can see how they are progressing through the course.Class Experience

✨New to Outschool? Use code HILAIRE2020 to save $20 on this class!✨ In this self-paced class, students will build upon their knowledge of algebra to prepare for higher math courses. This course will be a continuation of the concepts learned in my All About Algebra 2 class (https://outschool.com/classes/all-about-algebra-2-semester-course-flex-CTsnPfmt?usid=T6Fyr9ph&signup=true&utm_campaign=share_activity_link), but students who have prior knowledge of Algebra 2 are welcome to join. This class does not have any live meetings. Although this class does not have live meetings, students will interact with myself and the course material. I will post 1-2 instructional videos each week. Homework and practice problems will be a mixture of worksheets and problems on the website MyOpenMath. Students will have assignments each week and will post any questions that they have which I will answer with an additional video. They will also video and give an explanation of a problem from the homework each week on Flipgrid. Some weeks they will create a problem involving the concept of the week to share. They will also have graphing projects to show their knowledge of the various functions we will be studying. Per parent request, I can provide grades for the classwork and assessments if needed for a credit.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to solve various functions.
Students will solve basic trigonometric functions.
