The students will create a true/false game piece and then play a true/false pig game. We will discuss the parts of a pig. During the teacher directed drawing portion of the class, the students will draw and color a pig using their listening skills. They will share the pig drawings with their classmates, if they feel comfortable doing so. The students will then use the words...
-Students will use listening skills by focusing on pig facts during the read aloud. -Students will use research skills to gather and explain information about pigs. -Students will use creative skills by drawing and coloring a teacher directed pig drawing. -Students will use writing skills to write pig labels and sentences as well as ~ig words.
Paper Pencil Crayons or colored pencils
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
