The Pangolin is not only adorable but it is also critically endangered. In this class, learners will discover this almost unknown species that has eight subspecies in and around Asia and Africa. We will see these sweet mammals up close and learn why this species cannot survive in captivity, hence why you've never seen them in zoos! Uncover why they face extinction and simple steps you can make to help them recover. Using sources like National Geographic, IFAW, and wild animal rescues, children will be truly inspired by their lives and story of simple survival. Engaging videos about this elusive species and the humans that have made it their mission to save the Pangolin. There is also a coloring sheet and species information sheet to be downloaded and utilized before or after class.
