Class Experience

In this 30min class, we will talk about the basics of money and goals. What IS money? How do we earn it and save it? What is the difference between needs and wants? How do we learn the value of different things? A PDF workbook is sent after class so learners can continue their money education.

Mrs. Alyx is a CFP professional and Financial Advisor who has taught money and finance classes from preschool to College level. Using interactive visuals and questions, learners will bring their own experiences to class. Kids love coming up with ideas on what their financial lives will look like in the future, and in this class, we’ll touch on building the skills of talking about and using money.

This class is for ages 8-11, suitable for learners from anywhere in the world, and no previous money experience is required. Classes are small, to enable high interaction with learners and the teacher. If requested, class recordings may be shared at the discretion of the teacher (please note that Outschool restricts viewing to only attendees of the class).

*Offered for a variety of different time zones, please check AM/PM time.

* This class is taught in Pacific Time Zone (PST) and there is a time change March 10th, 2024. If you are in a region that observes a different time zone change or does not observe daylight savings, please note any class time shift for you, after March 10th.
