30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this 30min class, we will talk about the basics of money and goals. What IS money? How do we earn it and save it? What is the difference between needs and wants? What does “future you” do with money? A PDF workbook is sent after class so learners can continue their money education. Mrs. Alyx is a CFP professional and Financial Advisor who has taught money and finance classes from preschool to College level. Using interactive visuals and questions, learners will bring their own experiences to class. Kids love coming up with ideas on what their financial lives will look like in the future, and in this class, we’ll touch on building those skills of talking about money, visualizing, and making a plan! This class is suitable for learners ages 6-9 from anywhere in the world, and no previous money experience is required. This is an optional high participation class - your learner can answer the questions, or just follow along, even if they are the only one. *This class is offered for a variety of different time zones, please double check AM/PM time. * This class is taught in Pacific Time Zone (PST) and there is a time change on Nov 3, 2024. If you are in a region that observes a different time zone change or does not observe daylight savings, please note any class time shift for you, after this date.
