In this one time 30 min class we will be learning all about the rocks that come from other rocks. We will discuss how they form, the different types of metamorphic rocks, where they come from, and why they are important. We will learn how to identify different metamorphic rocks through the types of minerals they are made of, and their patterns. I have both an Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in Earth Science, with a focus on paleontology and have worked as both a tour guide and researcher for a UNESCO world heritage site.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
