In this 4-week flexible schedule course, students will dive into the world of marine mammals. Students will learn all about whales, dolphins, walruses, manatees, seals, and more! Each week will focus on a particular category of marine mammals. The interactive video lessons will integrate vocabulary relating to marine mammals and their habitat. I will be utilizing Edpuzzle to make each video interactive with questions popping up through the video (YouTube is an alternative if you don’t prefer...
Students will be able to... -define a marine mammal. -learn about the conservation status of animals (endangered, least concern, extinct, etc.) -know a variety facts relating to different marine mammals.
This is a flexible schedule class with no live meetings, so the students will be completing their work in whatever schedule works for them.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
