Homework will be given and learners will be asked to create a map themselves. They may create a map of their local area, a local park, school, an imaginary place ... Homework should NOT be shared in the classroom if there are any identifying details.
1 file available upon enrollmentThis class will come with a two page handout. The second page is required in order to participate in the making a map activity; if you do not wish to print it please ensure that it is copied and drawn prior to class.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Please remind your learners not to share any identifying information (cities, addresses, schools...). Learners may share their country (if you are comfortable with this). This classes will be kept general and factual. Learners will not be asked to share what their local area is like, or maps of their local area. Instead this will be set as homework that can be completely privately with their grownups.
