Students will learn about many types of lizards, what makes them unique, and why they're important to the environment. We will have four live lizards joining us to demonstrate their hunting, jumping, and camouflage abilities!

US Grade 3 - 6
During this course, we are going to learn all about different species of lizards, what they eat, where they live, and what unique adaptations they have to survive! The purpose of this class is to discuss how amazing lizards are! There will be four different live lizard ambassadors joining us in this class to help apply what we learn about lizards to a living example of one. Students will learn about the diet, anatomy, habitat, and adaptations of many lizard species. We will focus on tropical, desert, and forest-dwelling lizards. Students are expected to leave the class with a newfound appreciation and love for our reptile friends!
I work professionally with reptiles in the zoo field and also work in animal conservation. I am a certified National Geographic Educator who has worked with reptile animal ambassadors for 8 years!
