Hello everyone! My name is Jamie and I am a Certified Art and Special Education Teacher based in Wilmington, DE. I have been teaching elementary art at public schools for the past 10 years. I have an undergraduate degree in Art, Masters in Art Education, and a Master's in Special Education. I really enjoy seeing children express themselves and show off their creative side. I have been drawing since I could pick up a pencil. I really enjoy sharing my passion for art with others. *Late/Missed Class Policy* All courses will begin on time as long as one learner is in the classroom. If no students are in the classroom at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit after 10 minutes.
I try to keep cost at a minimum. I will be flexible with items and hope that you have some of them at home. Please have extra paper or a sketch book for the beginning drawings. Paper and something for color such as a box of crayons, markers, or colored pencils. I can show you how to complete the project using a variety of materials.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
