Line is an element of design and an essential part of many forms of art. This class offers opportunities to explore line though painting and drawing. We will have a short discussion about lines in everyday life. The teacher will facilitate a discussion on the approaches and choices students make and their impact on the final outcome. What does a line look like when made with paint, pencil, or crayon? We will explore various materials and lines before making the final project. Students will create their own picture using the materials they provide. I will be drawing along with the students. This is a step-by-step drawing class.
