This is a one-time course all about one of my favorite animals, Koala Bears! We will cover what they eat, their sleep schedule, their habitat, their appearance, and much more. We will also briefly talk about their status as an endangered species and what that means. We will get to do a fun drawing of a koala at the end of class as a souvenir of all we learned. Students will gain knowledge about the animal, koala bears. They will learn the core facts about this animal as well as learn how to draw this animal. This will also increase their ability to use descriptive facts to describe other animals they know about. Students will learn and discuss what being an endangered species is.
A blank paper, writing utensil and a few coloring utensils.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
