Beginner Level
Your student will learn how to code with JavaScript, the world's most popular coding language. There is no experience necessary for this class and will be fun for everyone! Students will even build a Mad Libs and Rock, Paper, Scissors game using JavaScript to practice their skills! This is a highly interactive class with students encouraged to interact with other students and the instructor regularly outside scheduled class times. Students will need to be very comfortable typing and with copy/ paste on their computers.  Your student will be amazed at what they can do at the end of this camp and be ready to continue their coding journey.

This code editor works on any computer, including Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chromebooks. Unfortunately, functionality is limited on tablets such as iPads. The Mozilla Developer Network is a free JavaScript resource website that students can utilize.
