This social club is all about horses whether you have a horse or you dream of having one someday. This is a learner led social club. Which means the learners can bring their own questions, posters, presentations, magazine articles, etc. about horses to show in class. This can be anything about parts of the horse, equipment, grooming, training, showing, etc. If learners have any questions about horses then I will answer them as well as other learners. There are no weekly topics since this is learner led and the topics depends on what the learners bring to class. Each learner will have a chance to show what they brought to class. If the learners have a presentation or video please keep it under 3 minutes so everyone in class will have a chance to share. If a learner does not have anything to share for the week they may pass when they are called upon. My role will be more of a facilitator of the conversations and topics the learners bring to class. If the learners do not bring anything to show then I will start the conversations by showing our horses and what is going on at the ranch. This will hopefully encourage the learners to take over the conversations. No required knowledge of horse topics is needed. This class is open to everyone whether they have a horse or not.

I grew up showing horses in 4-H and AQHA shows. My husband and I raise quarter horses on our ranch. I do not know much about English riding since I showed working cow horse, reining, western pleasure and barrels. But I will find out if there is a question about English equitation.
