In this interactive flexible schedule class, students will be learning about 16 different horse breeds. They will learn what special characteristics each horse breed has, history behind each horse breed, famous horses, and more! Each week, we will focus on 4 horse breeds, various horse related vocabulary will be integrated into the students learning, such as, terms used when discussing measurement, coloring, and more. Week 1Lesson 1Lesson 1In this lesson, learners will learn about the following horse breeds: Friesian, Morgan, American Quarter Horse, and Appaloosa.Week 2Lesson 2Lesson 2In this lesson, learners will learn about the following horse breeds: Clydesdale, Percheron, Fjord, and Arabian.Week 3Lesson 3Lesson 3In this lesson, learners will learn about the following horse breeds: Thoroughbred, American Paint, Tennessee Walker, and Andalusian.Week 4Lesson 4Lesson 4In this lesson, learners will learn about the following horse breeds: Shetland Pony, Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse, Belgian, and Hackney.
Students will learn about 16 different horse breeds, history of those breeds, and activity engage in discussions and activities related to these horse breeds.
Outside of Outschool, I work as an English horse riding instructor. I have been horseback riding since I was 5 years old and have been trained under professional instructors for over 10 years! I love sharing the knowledge that I have picked up along the way with other horse obsessed learners!
Homework Offered
This is a flexible schedule course, so all work will be completed by the students in their own time.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
