In this course, the following questions will be addressed: - What is an herbivore? - What does an herbivore's digestive system look like? How does it compare to omnivore and carnivore digestive systems? - What is the relationship between predators and prey? - What are some survival techniques used by herbivores? - What are some examples of herbivores in different habitats? Students will learn using a mix of lecture with slides, video clips, games, drawing, and discussion. The 45 minutes will fly by because students will be actively doing something the whole time.

My classes are all about engagement. I believe that if students are actively DOING something, they will learn more. You'll never hear me talk for more than 3 minutes at a time. I deliver a small chunk of info, and then I let the students process it by doing something with it. It could be a discussion, lab, worksheet, drawing, or game. I love games!
I teach group science classes, math game classes, and math tutoring. The math game classes are designed for kids who already know the concepts, but just need fun extra practice.
