Class Experience

Students will learn all about giraffes--what they eat, how they live, what their families are like, and what life is like for them in the wild.
All of the pictures in this class were taken by me in Botswana, South Africa, and Namibia. I have also worked with the large mammals managers of the National Zoo--the ones responsible for giraffes care.
I'll provide a one page attachment for you to print out of drawings to color in while we're doing the class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will not cover the more grisly parts of wildlife in the wild (ie: predation by lions or jackals). This is intended to be a fun yet educational course for youngsters and pre-teens.
