Come join us as we learn all about George Washington through read alouds, powerpoints, and multimedia. Students will then show what they learned by completing their own fact sheet. Lastly, students will each make a paper plate George Washington craft.

Students will each get their own George Washington themed writing paper. Upon enrollment in class, students will get a supply list for the craft.

Hello!
Welcome to Outschool! My name is Carly and I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach your child.
I received my Masters in Elementary Education from Truman State University in 2013. Due to my love of travel, my teaching experiences have been very varied. In the five years since graduating, I have taught kindergarten through third grade at the Escola Americana in Brazil, preschool at the Yoyogi International School in Tokyo, and second grade at the Canadian International school in India. I am currently teaching English online with VIPKid to students across the globe. These experiences have helped shape me into the teacher I am today; patient, flexible, adaptable, inventive, caring, and friendly.
I believe the classroom should be a warm and welcoming place where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and making mistakes.
