All About Frogs~Science Life Cycle, Reading Comprehension, Art
In this one time class, the students will listen to a non-fiction story about frogs, draw a a step by step frog, and add non fiction labels. The finished project will be a frog research project All About Frogs.

Class Experience
The students will listen to a non-fiction frog book during the "research" part of the class. Together we will brainstorm frog facts. They will also listen to a fiction frog story. During the directed drawing portion of the class, the students will draw and color a frog. They will share the frogs with their classmates, if they feel comfortable doing so. -Students will use listening skills by focusing on frog facts. ~Students will listen to a fiction and non fiction story read with fluency and expression. -Students will use research skills to gather information about frogs. -Students will use creative skills by drawing and coloring a frog. -Students will use writing skills to create non fiction labels/sentences with facts about frogs.

The students will need paper, a pencil, and crayons or colored pencils.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
